The below information is for our CAL RIPKEN BASEBALL division. 12 years old and younger players only
Ages are based on player's age as of 4/30/2026. We do not allow a player to play down in a lower division unless there is a specific safety concern.
General Season Schedule: Mid-September thru late October, consisting of TWELVE(12) regular season games, plus an End of Season Tournament
Practices: Practices will begin in August 2025 (Dates TBD). Prior to games starting, you can expect to have TWO(2) practices each week, one on a weeknight, and one on a Saturday. Once games start, practices are at the discretion of the coach and field availability, but are generally offered one weeknight practice per week while the game season is underway.
Games: Games are slated to begin in September 2025 (Dates TBD). Generally, you can expect to have TWO(2) games each week, one on a weeknight, and one on a Saturday. You may occasionally get a third game in a week, due to a make up of a previously scheduled game, or if there is an odd number of teams in a division.
Playoffs: There is an end of season tournament for 6U, Rookies, Minors, and Majors divisions. The tournament will begin immediately after the regular season concludes and may take up to two weeks to complete.
Equipment Provided by League: Each player will receive Hat, Jersey, Socks, and Belt (belt only available in Rookies division and above). One set of Cather's gear will be provided to each team (Rookies division and above)
Equipment Needed from Parents: Baseball pants, cleats, glove, helmet, bat.
