Volunteer Basketball Coaches

All New & Returning coaches must complete the 2025 WAA Coach and Volunteer Application. If you have already completed the background check & SafeSport between July 2024 and July 2025 you will just need to complete the updated application portion. Once you are in our system, you will only need to update the season you are applying to coach for any sport. You may see some other changes to the form as we work through some additional required changes.

This application has a Two (2) Year Background Check but requires a yearly update for SafeSport Training.

• We rely on parent volunteer coaches to make our sports programs work and encourage all parents to consider giving their time to coach the players. At least one(1) coach is needed per team.
• No prior basketball experience necessary. WAA can aid the learning process through coaching clinics and practice plans.
• ALL Persons who plan to be coaches , managers, or volunteers with access to players must complete the 2025 WAA COACH AND VOLUNTEER APPLICATION.
• The application incorporates all of your information to volunteer plus you are automatically set up for your Background Check and SafeSport Abuse Training or refresher course.
