With our current season coming to an end soon, we are gearing up for our 2024-2025 Academy & Classic Tryouts which kick off on April 29 & 30 with Academy Evaluations. Our Classic Tryouts will start on May 6th through May 28th. If you've yet to sign up for evaluations and/or tryouts, please see the link at the bottom of this page. 

We're excited to announce that we have our entire 2024-2025 coaching staff in place and ready for evaluations and tryouts!

• Jeff Mercado, Director of Coaching and Classic U13-U18, continues to lead our competitive soccer program. He has been the guide for some many players through the years for Waxhaw Soccer Club and will continue for some time to come. Jeff will also lead our Junior Academy as well as our Pre-Academy Training for future Academy players.
• Erik Imler returns as our Director of Academy. Erik has been a fixture in the Waxhaw community for many years with Waxhaw Soccer Club and other programs. He returned to the Club in 2023 and is tasked with growing our  Developmental Academy and Academy programs. 
• Nick Barnhorst has been elevated to Director of U11-U12 Classic. Nick has been with Waxhaw Soccer Club in many roles over the past few years. We're excited to have leading our U11-U12 boys & girls!
• Don Reda is a fixture on our training evenings as well as game day for our Micro & EDP Programs. He will continue this again this year as our Director of Micro & EDP. Don has been with our program for many years and is key in helping guide our youngest players into our Pre-Academy and Junior Academy programs. 
• Jack McCabe joined Waxhaw Soccer Club in Spring 2024 as our first ever Director of Recreational Soccer. Jack is no stranger to local soccer with his kids in several of the local programs in the Charlotte area.
