We hope this message finds you well and enjoying a wonderful summer! We are thrilled to announce that Waxhaw Volleyball is gearing up for another exciting Fall volleyball season, and we can’t wait to see your child on the court.

Our Fall season promises to be filled with skill-building, teamwork, and, most importantly, fun! Whether your child is a returning player or a newcomer to the sport, we are are dedicated to helping each player develop their abilities and passion for volleyball.

Important Details:

League Dates

• Registration open: Saturday, July 13
• Registration closes: Tuesday, August 13 ($100 fee for late registrations)
• Player evaluation and draft: Saturday, August 24
• First practices: Week of September 2
• First Games: Sunday, September 8
• Season Ends: Sunday, November 3

Age Groups:

• 9U, 12U, 13+ (Subject to change based on registrations)

Practices:

• One practice per week on one of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. For the Fall 2024 season, we are dedicating one day a week for each division to practice. 
• All 9U teams practice on Monday.
• All 12U teams practice on Wednesday.
• All 13+ teams practice on Thursday.
• Friday to be for open gyms and skills clinics.
• Other open gyms and clinics to be offered where the schedule permits. 
• The above is subject to change based on registration numbers.

Games: 

• Eight regular season games, followed by an end-of season tournament to determine division champion
• Games to be played on Sundays. First game starts no earlier than 12:00 PM

Registration Fees:

• Ages 9 and Under: $225 
• Ages 10, 11, 12: $250
• Ages 13+: $275
• Player age as of September 1, 2024 (Consistent with UCPS)
• Discount for families registering more than one child. $20 discount for each child registered after the first
• $15 discount for returning players who elect to re-use their uniform from the Spring 2024 or Summer 2024 seasons
• Refund pool for volunteer coaches (to be issued at the end of the season)

SPECIAL NOTE: PLAYERS WHO MAKE THEIR MIDDLE SCHOOL OR HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL TEAMS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A FULL REFUND OF THE REGISTRATION FEE. WE ENCOURAGE PLAYERS TRYING OUT FOR THEIR SCHOOL TEAM TO REGISTER WITH WAA TO HOLD A SPOT. A REFUND WILL BE PROVIDED IF THE PLAYER MAKES THE SCHOOL TEAM.

All volleyball activities held at Coffey Courts & Events Center. On your GPS, use 6611 Waxhaw Highway, Waxhaw, NC

Spots for our Fall season are limited and tend to fill up quickly. We encourage you to register your child as soon as possible to secure their place on the team. Early registration not only guarantees your child a spot but also helps us in planning and organizing a smooth and efficient season for all participants.
