Good Afternoon Everyone,

I hope everyone is enjoying the little bit cooler weather that we are currently having! A couple of quick updates from the WAA Basketball team:

We are in need of a couple more players for our 10th Grade Fall Select team. This would be players in 8th/9th/10th grade currently. Please join us for an open tryout on Tuesday 10 August beginning at 630pm at Western Union Elementary School. This team practices on Tues/Thurs 630-8pm and has games on Sundays at Carolina Courts.

Registration for winter rec league will be opening very soon!! I will send out another note when the registration is live. We are looking to begin practices the first week of November and the season will run through February. Depending on interest levels, we will put together some Select teams during the rec season to play in external tournaments as well.

As always, we will be looking for volunteer coaches and we will also be looking for some gym representatives this season as well. WAA Basketball is fully ran by volunteers and we look forward to having another successful season thanks to all of your help!
