REGISTRATION EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 14th

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED!!!!

Pass the word along as we had a few that needed us to reopen registration this morning so we have decided to keep it open for another day! Closing for this season now on 11/14 EOD. We have more registered to play this season than we did last year so it's all coming together very well. Let's make another push at getting these older kids back out on the field that might have thought their WAA flag days was over last season!

Good morning WAA Families,

I hope you have a relaxing Veteran's Day and those of you that know someone that served or reflected about those around us that served, appreciated the commitment of our service members.

I wanted to answer a few questions that I have seen as common one's about the Flag Football registration process and how the league will operate:

• Carpooling requests - although we cannot honor requests for players to be on the same team for carpooling purposes, there are a few possible options:
• Coaching - if a family member from each family needing to carpool decides to coach, both players are guaranteed to be on the same team
• Once teams are formed, it is very likely that another teammate will be living nearby and could be a "carpool buddy" for you.
• Combine (not "tryouts")
• The "combine" is meant to have all players together for the coaches to evaluate the different skills they would like to see in order to build their teams. This is why we encourage players to attend the combine BUT it is not required.
• What happens if we cannot attend the combine?
• If you cannot attend you WILL be placed onto a team.
• The placement onto a team will be based on the next pick in the draft order and will start alphabetically by last name.

I hope this helps to answer some of the common questions that everyone is having.
