Waxhaw Soccer Club Academy held a very successful Cookies & Cocoa Fundraiser this past weekend, December 15th, to support their Spring 2025 Myrtle Beach Tournament! The group of players and families braved the elements in the Millbridge Community to serve up some tasty treats and warm hot cocoa to take the edge of the temps.
The team put a major dent in their fundraising goal for the tournament in Myrtle Beach next season. This is a very large and costly tournament with teams coming all over the Carolinas. They will continue their fundraising through the winter and into next spring as their season kicks off again in late January.
"Thank you everyone who participated in Sunday's Cookies & Cocoa fundraising event in Millbridge. The event was a great success and generated a generous sum towards the cause for our Myrtle Beach Tournament in late April. It was great to see so many of our WXW YA families involved in this inaugural (perhaps?!?!) event. Once again, a big thank you to all who were instrumental in making the event a successful one." - Director of Academy, Erik Imler
Congratulations to Everyone involved!
