Hello Waxhaw Families,

It has been a while since I sent a message out to everyone so I thought I would close out the year with a final note and a few words of reflection.

This year has been several things for me and WAA alike: EXCITING, challenging, FUN, full of new relationships & strengthening existing one's. In the end, it all comes back to one thing - making the experience for the KIDS better and BETTER each time.

I would like to recognize our WAA BOARD MEMBERS, the various committees of the sports, and our parent volunteers that help in each sport through coaching, scorekeeping and mentoring our kids in several other ways. Let's not forget our bookkeeping service and our tax firm as well and the vendors that serve us as well.

Remember, PLEASE celebrate safely tonight. Allow your kids to CELEBRATE SAFELY & RESPONSIBLY tonight also, but remind those around you what being a "cool parent" truly means.

As we enter the 45th Anniversary of Waxhaw Athletic Associations existence, I hope to share many cool things throughout the year with everyone as we have several great things planned. Here is the first announcement of many:

The CHARLOTTE HORNETS NIGHT OUT is scheduled for MARCH 1st and promises to have some GREAT FAN EXPERIENCES for everyone!!
