REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Spring 2025

Information specific to each division such as age, fees, equipment, etc. can be found under DIVISIONS above.

Some important things to note:

1. Spring registration opens on December 31, 2024
2. Players age for the Spring 2025 Season will be determined using age on December 31st, 2024. 
3. The Girls Softball League team rosters will be reviewed by the Waxhaw Softball Board of Directors. 
4. Schedules are set by the Char-Meck Softball League and will be made available as soon as possible. 
5. Please note that we are affiliated with the Char-Meck Softball League and play other Athletic Associations within Union and Mecklenburg Counties. 
6. We do travel for away games. 
   • To see a list of the "Away" Fields, please refer to our Home Page or "FACILITIES" above.
7. Please refer to our Parent Code of Conduct section. As part of the new registration you will be required to accept the Code of Conduct within the registration. This will signify your acceptance of the terms of this agreement.
8. Medical Consent / Waiver of Liability Release Forms will now be part of your registration. Your acceptance within the registration will signify your acceptance of the terms of this agreement.

Refund Policy:

There will be a $25 administrative charge per player on all refunds requested before a player is placed or drafted on a WAA team. ONCE A PLAYER IS PLACED OR DRAFTED ON A TEAM THEN NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.

Important Dates

• December 31, 2024  - Registration Opens
• January 29, 2025 - Registration Closes
• February 1, 2025 - Player Evaluations @ Waxhaw Elementary Fields
• February 10, 2025 - Practices Begin, Schedule to be posted in SportsEngine App
• March 8, 2025 - Picture Day & Waxhaw Team Scrimmages
• March 15, 2025 - CharMeck season begins; Regular season games will be scheduled by CharMeck and posted when available.
