Waxhaw Cheerleading offers programs for young girls & boys, Kindergarten - 5th Grade. This is a super fun non-competitive cheer program. Our cheer squads cheer for the WAA Winter Basketball games.

Winter 2025 Cheer Registration: We're back and excited for our upcoming season! Waxhaw Cheerleading offers programs for youth, Kindergarten - 5th Grade. This is a super fun non-competitive cheer program.

About:

• Cheer for Waxhaw Basketball
• Games & Locations are TBD
• Game Season Starts in December
• Game Season is 8 Total Weeks; No Events during UCPS Break
• Registration fees will be $195 per girl
• Registration includes the cheer uniform, bloomers, poms, bow, socks, and white tennis shoes.

Returning Girls: Discounts offered for the reuse of your WINTER 2024 Skirt and/or Long Sleeved Shirt. Uniforms Must be inGood Condition.

Volunteers: Complete the WAA Coach & Volunteer Application

WAA Risk Assessment requires ALL persons who volunteer as: Board Member, Committee Member, Team Coach, Team Manager, Team Parent,  or a in a position with access to players, must complete this Volunteer Application, Background Check, Abuse Training.

Do you have interest in Coaching within Waxhaw Athletic Association? WAA instituted a new single COACH & VOLUNTEER APPLICATION that will serve as the only registration for coaches with WAA moving forward.

The WAA Coach and Volunteer Application starts your registration to serve as one or more of these roles with WAA: Coach, Board or Committee Member, Team Parent, or any role with direct access to players within Waxhaw Athletic Association. ALL Volunteers and ALL Sports Coaches must complete this application in order to:

1. Register as a Volunteer and join as a Member of WAA
2. Initiate the Mandatory Background Check
3. Initiate the SafeSport Abuse Training or refresher Training

ALL Risk Management steps must be completed and listed as Active in our system prior to serving in the volunteer role.
