Established just a short 12 years ago, Waxhaw Flag Football has grown to be the Waxhaw Area's "Go To" clubs for Winter Flag Football Seasons. We offer Four Age Based Divisions ranging from 5yrs to 13yrs of age. We are excited to kick off our 13th season later this Fall and look forward to having you join us!

Waxhaw Flag Football, established in 2012, is proud to be associated with Waxhaw Athletic Association. We are a non-profit organization committed to developing the love of volleyball within our players and our community. All are Welcome!

Big 10: 5-7 age group
ACC: 8-9 age group
SEC: 10-11 age group
NFL: 12-13 age group

ALL NEW Girls Only Div.
We are hoping to have participation for enough in all age groups above. If not and you indicate it on your registration, we will continue with registering as always with our Co-Ed teams. Girls only flag football is really growing and we want to provide this to all interested!
Evaluations
We will be hosting our mandatory evaluations and team drafts on November 16th & 17th. We have not determined which divisions will be on each day, this information will follow shortly. This will be held at Western Union.

Nesbit Park & WAXHAW weather
Nesbit Park Policy per town of waxhaw
- Eight (8) Mile radius of the weather station at the concession stand for Severe Weather & Lighting.
- Siren and Message will be sent out over the intercom system
- There will be a mandatory 30-minute wait after visual lightning or audible thunder.
- The 30-minute clock restarts EVERY TIME A NEW LIGHTNING FLASH OR THUNDER SOUND IS HEARD. This is visible on our website in multiple locations.
- The system will give the all-clear when does not detect any severe weather.
UCPS facilities WEATHER Policy
- There is no siren at these fields which means we use visual and audible cues for weather.
- If you HEAR Thunder or SEE Lightning, you must end practice or games and go to your cars.
- There will be a mandatory 30-minute wait after visual lightning or audible thunder.
- The 30-minute clock restarts EVERY TIME A NEW LIGHTNING FLASH OR THUNDER SOUND IS HEARD. This is visible on our website in multiple locations.
- Canceling a practice is at the coaches discretion once you are at the fields. Games are cancelled by the referee at the field.
