Registration open mAY 1 -  June 2

SUMMER REGISTRATION FEES

• Ages 9 and Under: $210 
• Ages 10, 11, 12: $230  
• Ages 13+: $250 
• Late Registration Fee (after June 2): $100 
• Discount for families registering more than one child 
  • $20 discount for each child registered after the first  
• Refund pool for volunteer coaches
  • At the conclusion of the season, WAA will issue refunds to our volunteer coaches 
  • 100% refund for Head Coach. 50% refund for one Assistant Coach (Less processing fees)
  • Max of 1 refund per coach. Max of 2 coaches per team 
  • To be eligible, coaches must participate through the entire season 

AGE DIVISIONS - SUMMER 2024

• Preliminary: 9U, 12U, 13+ 
• WAA may adjust the divisions based on the registrations
• Player age as of May 1, 2024
• All Divisions will be CO-ED

SUMMER LEAGUE SCHEDULE

• Registration Opens: Thursday May 2
• Registration Closes: Sunday June 2
• Late Registration Opens: Monday June 3
• First Practices: Tuesday June 11 / Wednesday June 12
• First Games: Sunday June 16
• Fourth of July Break: Monday July 1 -  Sunday July 7 (No Practices, No Games)
• Open Gyms may be scheduled if Coffey Courts permits
• Practices Resume: Wednesday July 10 / Thursday July 11
• Games Resume: Sunday July 14
• Last Games: Sunday August 4

WANT TO BE A WXW VOLLEYBALL COACH?

WAA is a volunteer lead organization. We rely on volunteer coaches to make our different sports programs work and encourage all parents to consider giving their time to coach our players.  

•  At least one (preferably two coaches) is needed per team 
• No prior volleyball experience necessary. WAA will aid through coaching clinics and practice plans 
• Coaches can pick their preferred practice day
• New!  Refund pool for coaches  
  • At the conclusion of the season, WAA will issue refunds to our volunteer coaches

The all new WAA Coach and Volunteer Application incorporates your application to be a coach within Waxhaw Athletic Association for ALL Sports, but also allows you to complete your mandatory yearly Background Check and SafeSport Abuse Training (or refresher course).

ALL persons who plan to be coaches, managers or volunteers with access to players must complete the application, background check and training.
