NCYSA CLASSIC SOCCER

The Classic Soccer program provides the next step for Academy players with the opportunity to advance to a more competitive level of play.  While individual player development is still very important at this level, the focus for this age group is working into positions and developing tactical and team play. Training and practices continue to emphasize individual skills while incorporating more tactical decision-making and problem solving. This level of play is more results driven whereby team standings are recorded.

All players must tryout to participate on these teams.  If a player has been offered and accepted membership to a team, the commitment is for one year beginning with the fall season.  It concludes at the end of the spring season. Players will not be released to play with another club, and no refunds are provided.

Ages

• Waxhaw Soccer Club offers Classic Travel levels of play for players 9 to 18 years old. 
• Birth Years: 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006

Tuition Fees

• Full Year U11-U14 Boys & Girls - $1,250 + Team Fees, Uniforms, etc.

• Half Year U15-U19 Boys & Girls - $1,000 + Team Fees, Uniforms, etc.

training & Games

• Classic teams will generally have two(2) practices per week.  
• Each practice will last between one(1) to two(2) hours.
• Games will be played either Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday's in a competitive format.  
• Classic Travel games are scheduled through the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA).  
• Classic Travel will be mostly within the Piedmont and Western North Carolina areas.
• Each team will participate in at least two tournaments per year. Cost of tournaments will be covered at the parent's expense.

Practices will be held at either Nesbit Park Fields 6 & 7, and Kensington Elementary Soccer Field 8
